I'm undertaking a full engine overhaul of my Rootes engine, and I'm looking for some advice from experienced members. Specifically, I'm curious about recommended torque settings for the cylinder head and connecting rods. Also, are there any specific areas of the engine that are known to be prone to wear or failure that I should pay particular attention to during the rebuild?
